CPR and Defibrillator training

The training course follows the American Heart Association and Irish Heart Foundation Heartsaver AED programme and includes:

• Introduction
• Adult CPR
• Child CPR
• Use of a barrier device for adult and child
• Contacting the emergency services
• Use of a defibrillator
• Adult and child choking
• Infant choking
• Infant CPR

Each student receives an American Heart Association Heartsaver AED student workbook, a CD-Rom and wallet cards, a pocket mask and also some proprietary documentation which they can retain and refer to in the future.
